What we're looking for:

Systems Administrator
 
This role requires someone who is outgoing, has excellent communication skills, enjoys working as part of a team, can successfully multi-task, and thrives on being successful in high-stress environments. Successful candidates will have strong interpersonal skills, a confident presence, adept logical troubleshooting, testing experience, task management skills, and root cause analysis abilities.

At Zoosk, we expect our Systems Administrator to maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service skills. You will be trusted with some of the company's most confidential information, which means will we expect you to conduct yourself with an extremely high degree of ethics.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate and Production server configuration and maintenance
  • Management of the office network and resources
  • Contributor to production, QA, and dev configuration management
  • Automate desktop and corporate server deployments
  • Corporate desktop and server software updates
  • Server and desktop backups
  • Antivirus
  • Desktop support help
  • On-call/after hours production support

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in a Windows environment
  • 2+ years experience with MySQL databases
  • 5+ years troubleshooting Mac OS and Windows desktops and laptops
  • Extensive experience maintaining Active Directory, WSUS, and IIS
  • Experience managing an office network and resources
  • Ability to write extendable scripting
  • Ability and willingness to lift 60 pounds
  • Familiarity with production systems a plus
  • Experience with SOX and PCI
  • Data center build out experience
  • Experience with Hyper-V and VMware ESXi

Preferred:

  • Cisco, HP, and, Juniper networking devices
  • Windows Server, Linux, Mac Server
  • SAN, NAS (Nimble Storage experience is a plus)
  • Video Conferencing
  • VoIP, Telephony
  • Google Apps Administration
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL
  • Experience with Linux
  • Casper Suite experience is a HUGE plus
