About the Role

The Broadcast Solutions Software Developer: Fullstack role is on the forefront of cutting edge broadcast tools for first and 3rd party production partners. You will help to develop scalable product solutions and system integrations between proprietary Twitch technologies and existing broadcast ecosystem products. As a fullstack focus, you have experience designing and managing microservices end-to-end with a strong understanding of data flow connectivity throughout product systems. As a member of a small innovative team, you will need a strong ability to scope and establish products from creation through execution, work independently, document, and communicate new ideas. We're looking for someone excited to help redefine the future of creating great content with Twitch!

You Will:

  • Collaborate with customers to design, develop, and release services and tooling
  • Build resilient microservices capable of large amounts of processing to aid broadcast production
  • Help establish engineering tenets on products, develop data connectivity, and create systemic design methodologies

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in TypeScript and React
  • Knowledge of unit testing and TDD approaches to software development
  • Experience writing scalable real-time micro-services on Linux platforms

Bonus Points

  • Extensive knowledge of Twitch native APIs like Helix, Kraken, PubSub, WebSub and EventSub
  • Experience with PubSub communication patterns
  • Ability to write clean, self documenting code
