myUsearch.com, the Honest College Matchmaker, is searching for a senior salesperson with a passion for education and a drive to help colleges control their marketing costs, protect their brand and increase enrollment by recruiting qualified and invested student prospects. As the senior salesperson, you will report directly to the vice president of business development and be solely responsible for generating your own leads, cultivating relationships with prospective clients and securing client contracts. This position requires a unique individual with proven results and the desire to support the growth of our entrepreneurial company.

Required Experience and Abilities:
• 5+ years experience in sales or business development
• General knowledge of the college recruiting industry
• Prior success selling to directors of admissions for not-for-profit colleges in a competitive market
• A proven record of generating leads, cultivating relationships and closing client contracts
• Proven ability to self-manage and self-motivate
• Proven ability of establishing and achieving sales metrics
• A highly motivated, goal oriented individual who expects to be held accountable
• Prior earnings of at least $90,000

Preferred Experience and Abilities:
• Existing contacts and relationships with director level for-profit college and/or international student admissions professionals
• Existing contacts and relationships with lead aggregators and higher education marketing agencies
• Experience selling in the education lead generation industry
• Experience working for start-up or growth companies
• Proven ability to work from home and/or with limited supervision

Benefits:
This position offers the ability to work from home and other work/life balance benefits including four weeks of paid vacation.

Compensation:
This is a non-employee status position and will be compensated with both base pay and performance-based commission commensurate with experience.
